After 85 years in the Village of Hempstead, Feldis Florists has relocated to 2170 Sunrise Hwy in Merrick. Our new Merrick location includes state of the art refrigeration and cut flower processing. This will enable us to provide our customers with the freshest flowers possible. Our new Merrick store is centrally located so we can provide prompt and reliable delivery service to all of Nassau County.

With locations in Garden City, Wantagh and Merrick, Feldis continues to provide excellent service and products to our Hempstead area customers.

The Feldis family, led by Joseph Feldis, settled in the Village of Hempstead in 1922. Over the next 4 generations the Feldis family grew and sold flowers on 2 acres of land on the corner of South Franklin and West Graham. As times changed the cost of growing flowers and plants in Nassau County became prohibitive due to high property taxes and the high cost of heating oil. Feldis has had to adapt. We closed the garden center and greenhouses and focused our efforts on the floral gift business. Feldis has become the premier retail florist not only in Hempstead but in Nassau County and nationally. Feldis has been recognized as a top florist by both Teleflora and FTD.
